Instruction
JP Bresser started diving at the age of 12. After many years of diving and training in the Dutch lakes he moved to a commercial diving school where he became a Diving Instructor for SSI in 1994. Within SSI he progressed along the instructor path to SSI Instructor Trainer Level. After some years of training instructors JP travelled to SSI Headquarters to become an Instructor Certifier. In 2007 JP became Technical Course Director for NAUI
Nowadays JP is active as a fulltime Cave and Tech Instructor for GUE (Global Underwater Explorers), is a active cave and wreck diver and member of the EKPP, a European cave exploration team where he is responsible for film and photo documentation.
JP Bresser is photographing and filming for a lot of years. Starting with a Nikonos V and a Video 8 camera he travelled all over the world to take pictures and make movies. Nowadays he works with a Canon 5D MKII in a Hugyfot housing and a Sony XDCAM EX1 in an SEAlUX housing. His photos and articles are published in several national and international magazines and his movies and underwater footage displayed in a wide variety of productions.
